Sterling Ruby

Sterling Ruby

Here are some of Sterling Ruby's sculptures that were on display in an exhibition in the Saachi. These are made from PVC pipe, expanding foam and spray paint. These are interesting because the still look wet and I like the use of materials, they way that his work is about how far the materials will go. The processes and look of his sculptures could be replicated in paint and PVA. They gave me the idea of dipping string in paint and leaving them to dry and them constructing a sculpture out of them?

He has also used dripping paint; his work looks very architectual.
