In Stitches
Micheal Readecker

I have just started a new project in textiles called "In Stitches". My main subcet area is painting so naturally I wanted to stitch over a painting done with acrylic paint but after doing some research i descovered an arist called Micheal Readecker who makes a stitched design and paints over the stop of the stitches. I originaly thought that you wouldn't be able to see the full effect of the stitches but you can. I think its intesting how his work looks dark and he only uses tones of grey.
