Urs Fisher Wax Sculptures
Recently I have cast my legs in plaster and dripped wax over the cast to show how gravity pulls the wax down. I did the wax in earthy vomit colours because I am thinking of how I could display my work in a gallery situation. With the colours been like vomit I thought about putting beer bottles at the side of my cast and displaying it on a old battered sofa. This is where Urs Fishers sculptures come into my work because I love the way that they are displayed, the candle burns and the wax melts throughtout the exhibition so the work will eventually end up being ruined.
